Gestionnaire 2006 allows management optimization with the help of tools that complement the new functionalities in each module.

Many scorecards offer an overview of everyday operations: occupancy rate analysis, on-screen alerts (accounts payable, anniversaries, employee evaluation, inspection visit to the person responsible for home daycare, etc.) and financial summary – less chance of forgetting without being obliged to remember!

We can now attach different types of files (Word, Excel, PowerPoint¹, PDF², etc.) to the child, employee, supplier, person responsible for home daycare records, the General Directory, the waiting list, etc. All information is thus centralized, and it is no longer necessary to chase after printed records.

Data purging has been integrated to streamline the database and thus improve the system's overall performance.

Integration of pre-authorized payment cycles at all levels (payment of childcare expenses, payroll management, accounts payable, etc.) saves time and reduces the risks of error in processing these transactions.

A new report editor allows reports to be exported as viewed on the screen or exported in PDF format.

Management of rights by user group is now more detailed (including access to priority notices or the Gestionnaire 2006 Web page, for example).

New programming technology

A new application framework, called GeMStudio, was used.

The entire application was re-written, including:

• Access to data;
• Report production;
• Graph production;
• Exporting information.

Online download was reviewed to avoid resorting to an alternate downloading link. The software now offers a faster access to data thanks to the integrated ADO¹ (Active Data Objects) technology.

New Web page

• Reorganization of the Web page, including a new look;
• Integration of basic reminders into the Web page;
• Weather report always visible;
• Deletion of the specific Web page access code (the new license key does all the work).
